I found this to be more helpful than just making traditional flashcards with definitions since this forced me to think more big picture when it comes to the concept and I would have to explain largely how it works or recall all the related terms or connected concepts. To save time I ended up copying and pasting all of the bulleted text under each concept in his notes I wanted to review so it was a quick way to make the notes. After watching all of the Professor Messer videos, I went over his course notes (which I bought from his website) and made flashcards using Anki of all the concepts that I felt I didn’t know 100% well and needed more review. It breaks it down into easy-to-understand chunks and provides lots of practice examples and some curveballs you may see on the test. For the 7-second subnetting section, I personally found that Messer’s video didn’t click with me so I used Practical Networking’s “Subnetting Mastery” playlist and I cannot recommend it enough. For example, I stopped and made sure I understood subnetting and binary math before moving on to the next part since that part was alien to me at first. Watched all of the Messer videos, only stopping to take notes on the areas that were brand new or challenging. Here’s an overview of my preparation for the Net+: I followed a very similar plan to my last study plan for the A+, you can read about it in detail here. I ended up losing about a week’s worth of studying time but I managed to pass it with a 754. I found a discount on this r/CompTIA subreddit which can be found here.I passed both CompTIA A+ cores earlier this summer and gave myself exactly 3 weeks to take the Net+ but I was worried as soon as I saw the notes that I may need more time. I also bought the Pearson labs pack for less than $20.00. This is probably overkill, but I don't want to fail and have to pay for the test again.ītw, you can get the Dion tests pretty cheap when Udemy is running a sale, or with some coupon you can probably easily search for. After this, I will go over all of the port numbers and the Professor Messer subnetting chart found in his Seven Second Subnetting – CompTIA Network+ N10-007 – 1.4 video. I am currently taking the ExamCompass CompTIA Network+ Certification Exam N10-007 Practice Tests and am almost done. I also purchased the CompTIA Network+ N10-007 Hands-on Lab Simulator from Pearson and did all of the labs. I purchased the Jason Dion CompTIA Network+ (N10-007) 6 Practice Exams and Simulations on Udemy and took all of the tests. I have taken the ITProTV, Mike Myers, and Professer Messer video courses. So far I have gone through many training resources. I am currently training to take the N10-007. r/CompTIA holds no responsibility for certification nullification which may be caused by visiting links submitted to this subreddit.Īsking for, or posting links to Braindumps, Unauthorized reproduction of testing material, copyrighted material or other content that is in violation of the CompTIA Candidate Agreement will result in removal of post, up to being banned from this community.
